Birthday wishes

62 years ago today, my mother was at home with her friends and family celebrating her 17th birthday with a cake and presents. With almost half her life over then, and amongst the wishes I have now that she was still here, celebrating her 79th, it's good to see that she was enjoying herself and her company, laughing, and making every minute count. My mom is the same age as your mom, but has Alzheimers...I am wishing I could ask her about those times too....Thanks for sharing your family story. Perhaps it is stimulating some families to connect and explore more than they might have. J in Chicago

My own 18th birthday was just four days after your Mom's 15th.

I've just connected with this site (in early July) and am glad to have discovered it. I hope to follow it for the rest of the year.

Many thanks for your work on it.
